Kinematic Mapping

This project focuses on the analysis of a simple movement of the hand using a tool. The photographs of the hand were to be translated into digital drawings that were the basis to create 3D relationships between instances of the movement. After analyzing those 3D relationships, they were translated into a physical model highlighting the interaction between the hand and the tool. This project shows how a simple movement can create complex spaces.
